1) What is aprstlm ? aprstlm is an ncurses based linux application that shows telemetry from APRS telemetry capable satellites such as PCSAT and PCSAT2 2) How do I build and run it ? Read README. It documents how to run the program. See BUILD for instructions on how to build the program. 3) It always tells me "PREDICT SERVER UNAVALIABLE" This means the predict server you specified was unavaliable, or it doesnt have a TLE for the satellite you specified. Note, that at present, you need to specify the satellite in CAPITALS. Also, note that the name you specify must match what predict has. This can cause problems, esp with PCSAT2/ISS. Duplicate/Change your predict TLE's for the time being. 4) I see only labels, but no data, whats going on ? This just means that no telemetry has been received from the APRS server you specified yet. This is normal, and you may have fired the application up when no groundstations could see the satellite. 5) I can listen to the telemetry directly. Can aprstlm receive APRS packets directly ? No. It needs an TCP/IP based APRS-IS server. However, you could run your own and connect to "localhost", this will work perfectly well. 6) My question isnt answered here... Send email to g7iii@g7iii.net, and I'll try to answer it. I might even add it to this file...
