Went to Avebury with Wooly on April 1st 2002. Not a fantastic day, it was mostly overcast and it was bank holiday so the place was crawling with people.

We walked, though not following the route, Excursion 3 from the Footprints Through Avebury guidebook. This walk passes through the Avebury stone circles, around much of the earthworks and down the restored part of the West Kennet Avenue.
