Remote Traceroute Tool

This tool provides the facility to traceroute to remote sites, via a connection onto the Claranet UK (AS8426) backbone.

It utilises the Nikhef traceroute tool, the man page gives more information on its operation and functionality.

Queries made via this tool may be logged

NOTE: Any hosts using automated processes to repeatedly query this tool will be blocked.

Destination host (defaults to your host or proxy/cache):

Options:
Show standard per-hop rtt statistics
Show per-hop min/avg/max rtt statistics summary
Show per-hop AS (autonomous system) numbers
Enable verbose reporting (show ICMP other than 'time exceeded' and 'unreachable')
Enable per-hop ttl reporting
Disable per-hop reverse DNS lookup (can speed up traceroute)
